The Missouri Tri-County Regional Science and Engineering Fair (MTRSEF) is replacing the St. Charles/Lincoln County Science and Engineering Fair. Kindergarten through fourth grade students will display their projects for competition. Each student could receive a participation award and feedback on their project. The fair strives to encourage the youngest scientists to continue inquiring about the world around them. The fifth through twelfth grade students will have the opportunity to compete in a the science fair with awards for the top projects in each grade level. Students who wish to compete for the most prestigious awards will be asked to remain with their project for a brief interview with the judges. The awards that will require an interview are the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair trip (9-12), the Discovery Young Science Challenge Competition (5-8), and all special awards provided by corporations and societies.
